I always have problem in synchronizing the emails among my Macs at home, in office and my PowerBook... well, may be not problem, but still find it not easy enough to do so.
Recently I was impressed by my wife's bank which offers her remote access to her office's PC. It works with a browser equipped with JAVA and a security keychain device like those from HSBC. You go to the link, log in with the secure code on the device, and blah! My Mac suddenly works like a Wintel machine! I envied that. And now no more... 'cos now I found LogMeIn.
LogMeIn works exactly the same way like my wife's bank's remote access system. It's free. It works on as many computer as you want to add. Now I can freely remote-control all my Macs and PC in different locations -- like using my PowerBook in Shanghai to control my Mac at home or office to surf Blogger and Facebook in the Mainland with acceptable speed! Now My Mac can works like a PC and my PC works like a Mac -- best of both worlds, ha!
Wait! They even developd an iPhone version that works exactly the same way as on the desktop. I saw how my friend in Shanghai remotely control his Macs in office and at home on that mini-screen of his iPhone. Just impressive!
Thanks again, LogMeIn!

Another good option is RHUB's on-premise remote access tool. It provides more security than online hosted services. Besides the standard features for remote access, it also allows for remote locking of your computer, remote reboot and auto-reconnection. It's quite affordable, and RHUB's 4-in-1 appliance also gives you remote access, remote support, web conferencing and webinars (guaranteed attendance) for the price of one.
Thanks Jenn for dropping by and recommending R*HUB!
