Resurrecting old sound files

I can't be anything happier than tonight when I got this program, SndConverter Pro from Dejal Systems, to convert my already-obsolete SoundEdit files which were produced more than 10 years ago. I've been searching on the net for a program which can convert SoundEdit files to some common format(s) like MP3 or AIFF, and now I got this finally.

SndConverter Pro supports converting files to and from the followings:

  • AIFF and AIFF-C files
  • SoundEdit data files (You can also convert PC sounds via this format)
  • Mac OS sound files
  • Mac OS sound suitcases
  • Sound Mover suitcases - this category includes applications containing sounds and HyperCard stacks: basically, you can extract 'snd ' resources from any file.
What is even better is that Dejal is giving this and almost all their Classic applications away for free, complete with registration numbers! Thanks again Dejal, you saved my day!
